L.A. Lifts Mural Ban While NYC PoliceTweet…

Back in the 80’s there was a surgence (this may not be a word according to Scrabble) or resurgence (which may not apply) in graffiti around NYC, as well as other places. LA’s artists were commissioned to do murals around the it’s fair city. Then for some reason they recently banned murals in LA and removed them. This did not deter artists from decorating every available surface. Fines were imposed on store owners and landlords if they didn’t clean their buildings within a certain period of time. Again, let’s go back to 1939 why don’t we? Now the ban has been lifted. A major victory for our side.

Now back to the cops on Twitter. I blogged about this yesterday. Apparently I was a head of the game because in the morning but come evening news it went viral.
