Now this is an outright shame. Not only was Rizzoli a New York fixture, but it was beautiful. The books they published and had in the store were high quality.
So since New York is just about done and handed over to the rich, I think it’s time to think about other places where people can live, invent and create an alternative. Since Detroit is on the skids, property is cheap and I hear a lot of artists are moving there. Cambodia is another hot spot. Well if they start fracking in NYC, there will be a possibility that much like in Oklahoma, we will start experiencing earthquakes and all these high rise condos will be at risk, much like what they did to Rizzoli.
Kind of karmic in a sense. Breaks my heart. There is very little left in NY to experience and explore.
