The Z Continues As Brooklyn Explodes…

Cover Jim!

Do we need another biennial? Will Brooklyn secede from New York? Seems as if it has already. It certainly is giving Manhattan a run for her money. But i have to say it is an exciting time to be young and in Brooklyn, that is if you can afford to live there.

Brooklyn is exploding. Whoever would have thunk it. So is the rest of the world for that matter, but not necessarily in a good way:

And of course more tension in the mid east:

I have found this last week to be rather high in drama concerning my personal life as well. I won’t go into it but it seems to be in sync with what is happening in the rest of the world. Interesting that it all hangs together on some level. Hopefully it will all pass in a timely fashion and we will be able to pick up where we left off. But then again tensions have always run high in these areas, meaning racism and the mid-east. Can’t go near a conversation concerning Israel and Palestine, let alone an unarmed person getting shot. So where is the cut off point before we all explode? Or are we at that point?

Again I am finding that art imitates life and visa versa.
