RIP Joan and Over Priced Animated Gifs…

Rivers set for Charles comedy gala

I always loved Joan Rivers. She was a survivor. After the Johnny Carson fiasco, husbands suicide, career woes, she reinvented her career and became an inspiration to every woman in the arts. She took a small network (E), gathered a fan base for cable television and did what she loved up until the very end. She was the keynote speaker at Pratt’s commencement one year. She was great! I will miss her and Fashion Police.

On another note, just read about this in ArtFCity:

Now seriously, how retarded is this? If people only knew  this  is sooo temporary. Anything generated on the computer especially gifs and jpgs loose data. And when you upgrade, no telling if the old images will work. So if you have money to burn, then good luck. And take it from me, it’s all about the upgrades.

Another interesting happening:

And this is why I will miss Joan Rivers. At least she made me laugh and feel good in an otherwise ridiculous world we live in. No wonder I wrote The Z Factor. It’s all this and more.
