This is indeed the downside of gentrification:

And although Manhattan is and has become a play ground for the rich, the stuff that made New York great is rapidly disappearing. I know I don’t shut up about it but it’s really sad. Glad this point of view is finally coming into the foreground. I think it’s a bit too late but change is inevitable. That is the downside for today.

The upside is COUNTDOWN TO THE ZEBRA POETRY FILM FESTIVAL 2014, BERLIN!!!! OCTOBER 16-19th, Babylon Theater!
