Good News! It’s Cult Week At Curbed…

Yes Curbed is featuring cults in l.A. area this week. I’m sure there will be a lot to cover:

Even The Z Factor has some roots in Los Angeles, although at the time it wasn’t a cult. The Z does have a group that supports it. I believe you can call it a cult following.

The above link talks about how Manson lured displaced young people into his “family.” How is this different from Isis?

Also I’ve noticed these links are kind of weird. They cut off just when you start getting to the meat of the article. Anyway thanks to Curbed NY. It’s nice to read a bit about history for a change rather than who bought what for a billion dollars.

And getting back to my books I suppose the content could be viewed as sort of cultish, but with good intentions. They are really about the evolution of a society that is out of control and how one has to cope and reinvent themselves.
