Under the guise of humanitarianism?


Again, New York is loosing another quintessential part of the city. I myself am an advocate for animal rights and perhaps the carriage drivers should take better care of the horses however, there is nothing more romantic than a horse drawn carriage ride through and along Central Park. It is expensive but something one should do if you are visiting the city. As a peace offering the mayor is offering the carriage drivers green taxi medallions, but these are horse people and I assume they are not happy about it. I can tell you from experience when I owned a house I had a few as tenants. Needless to say they are a breed unto themselves. So the theory is that the city wants the property where the stables are to redevelop into more condo cancer. What else is new?…

In the meantime Ivan has entertained the idea of bringing this tourist attraction to the new amusement park in Karpland. Only problem is the weather isn’t conducive for the horses:
