Cyber Scoundrels And Art…

My new review for moving poems:

Also it may be a bit too late to attend this but I find the topic interesting. I think many people who indulge in social media are not using it responsibly. As we all know there is a huge amount of hacking out there. Just because a person seems  somewhat faceless, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t hold some responsibility for what they are creating and how it impacts others. I believe it all boils down to boundaries and perhaps boredom. But there is come serious business out there that can really screw you. A great example is when I order something on line and the merchant sells my email address. Then all of a sudden I’m getting ads relating to the last thing I bought. I try to unsubscribe but that doesn’t always work. Kind of a “Wild West” mentality. I suppose people will always try to disrupt the system(s) and try to get away with things. This seems to be just another way:

Also Eyebeam is a really cool place if you’re into interactive artsy techie stuff:

Now for another surprise. Who knew San Diego is more expensive than NY?
