El Greco Diner Falls Victim To Condo Cancer

park2I suppose it was just a matter of time before they got to Sheepshead Bay. I used to take my mother here for lunch. It was a good stop over for picking up friends from the airport and to have a decent breakfast. Now along with so many other childhood memories and landmarks, The El Greco Diner is about to bite the dust. Selling the property has made the family rich so I can’t say that I blame them. But it’s one of those places that was always there like Rizzoli’s and Bleecker Street.

Here is another kicker:

So now that these people have spent a great deal of money to gentrify D.U.M.B.O, they are being held up from moving into their luxury lofts. Interesting state of affairs. Guess they aren’t rich enough to have paid off whoever to get their C of O.

It has come to light that 1/4 of the apartments in NYC are unoccupied. Supposedly De Blasio is going to put a lean on tax credits if one isn’t a resident.

Ivan will be back tomorrow. Jason is coming in and Ivan is anxiously awaiting his arrival.

In the meantime…JE SUIS CHARLIE!!
