Last night the castle hosted a cabaret. We were told that since the whole thing was in German, we would not really enjoy it. So we were told to come down during intermission to have a glass of wine and meet with the head of the board of directors and some other very important people who are running the show here. We have an appointment in about 2 weeks to visit the media center and get whatever equipment we will need for our presentation. That was very cool. I believe the final exhibition will be in a very prestigious place. Where? I can only speculate and don’t want to jump the gun before we see them on the 14th and discuss our contracts. I have a good feeling about this. Will probably make all this suffering worthwhile.
We were told that this is indeed a grounds keeper who speaks English, but he is sick. He should be back at some point in the not too distant future. In the meantime the owner of Pipi Fax Cafe is going to come around I think on Monday and show us a few more crevices we haven’t explored yet. Still trying to get the bus and train trek down.
Still no water to speak of. They assured us last night that it will be fixed by today. It’s kind of like reliving Sandy in the sense that showering is becoming nonexistent.
We were able to solve the heat and studio situations, now the last frontier….water. We have enough to make coffee. This is very important.
Started and almost completed the first drawing of what I have proposed. I have about 5 more to do but brought a lot of work with me from home so I’m covered. I’ll know more about how I will handle the actual presentation after the 18th. I’m sure once the water problem is solved, we will be in good shape.
Ivan will be back soon so stay tuned…posted some progress on the drawing:
