Important Town People And Others…

IMG_3810

Yesterday we were all set to go into Heidelberg when all of a sudden this man walks into our apartment along with a few other people. It was a mistake on his part and was very embarrassed. Turns out he is a very important Commissioner, or ex-commissioner and heads the Heidelberg Art Group. I think he is responsible for our residency and is also a collector. They hold meetings downstairs once every 6 weeks. We were invited to lunch (very good) and showed them examples of our work(s.) He gave us a little background of the group: After WW2 the artists starting coming back to the region and that’s how it started. We had to postpone our trip into Heidelberg for today. To get into Heidelberg we need to take 2 buses and 2 trains and we need to go shopping again for food. Remember tomorrow is Monday and nothing is open around here.

The night before there was a cabaret here at the castle and again we met some important people, were introduced, etc. We will also be visiting the Media Center to assist us in our presentation. Forgive me if I’m repeating myself. It’s been a very strange week. The water is on but still a bit wonky. The grounds keeper is sick and he is the one who usually keeps things going around here. I did speak to him on the phone during the Internet crisis, so I know he exists.

In the meantime we found dead people:

Also we were told there is a ghost here as well. That may explain the first week from hell. Ghost needed to get used to us. We hear strange noises from time to time, but no bad vibes.

Ivan is back…..and first drawing is almost finished!!
