More Pratt Stuff And Our Crabby Bus Driver…

IMG_3903 2

So here I am in quiet Feste Dilsberg outside of Heidelberg. My sabbatical is anything but quiet. The canceling of the Pratt Show not only comes as a surprise, but confirms the fact that the Provost Peter Barna, (who by the way is retiring and also an alumni) wants to diminish the schools reputation and change the direction from being the number one design school to an expensive liberal arts college.

Please sign the petition and help our students. It not only affects the graduating class, but the entire school. Seriously why go to Pratt to study liberal arts when you can go to Hunter or Brooklyn College? Get real:

Now back to Dilsberg…

Our crabby bus driver. This is the best I can do so far. She knows us by now since we take the bus almost everyday, never smiles and always asked to see our tickets. Interesting. IMG_3904

By the way this is the best coffee. According to Gurd at PiPiFax, you can only buy it in Austria. Seems as if the Ottomans at some point tried unsuccessfully to invade Austria and left their coffee beans.

One last thing, the sea of bicycles in Heidelberg:IMG_3899

Onto drawing #5.

More on Greetings From Karpland tomorrow.

Stay tuned…
