News here and back home: Just heard about that horrific explosion on Second Ave. and 7th street. Here we have finally gotten some English channels on the TV. Al Jazeera broadcasts in English and we now know what is going on on this side of the globe. France has lost it’s Socialist popularity and the far right will probably lose power. Greece will be out of money in April and some mentally ill jackass crashed a Luftthansa plane into the French Alps. Yemen is being bombed and Nigeria is holding elections.
Other than that the Mid East is a mess and we are just about out of paper. Sandy went to the art store the other day and they ran out. Wasted trip. I still have some left but what I have in mind will have to wait until I get home. It’s too physically large and will have a problem bring it home. Also decided to spend the rest of the time writing and trying to finish the novel. Been reading and sending to publishers. Some want the entire manuscript, others want it in physical form. That too will have to wait until I get home. Anyway…
It’s been raining the last 2 days here and supposed to keep it up for the rest of the week. There is so much Pippifax we can consume and Sunday (rain or shine) is his busiest day. So there you have it, life in a small village. Looks like another work day.
