More About Art And No Music Easter…

This is a good one. Follows on the heals of the Whitney’s decision to give their museum over to the corporate galleries. Also the more famous you are the more likely someone is going to hand you an honorary degree:

SHOCKER GIFIn the meantime things are coming along and apparently this whole place has shut down for Easter. Not being a huge component concerning¬†organized religion, I not only find this odd, but kind of oppressive. Pippifax is not allowed to have his Friday music venue. It’s against the law. Kind of weird. I wonder if you’re humming a song while walking down the street, the cops will throw you in jail?

I was so taken with Mali the lonely elephant, that I decided to do a drawing. Perhaps send it off (copy) to the organization that is involved in improving her situation:

Anyway, less than a month to go and the show is very close. Turns out the translation service I used was a bit sloppy and I had to have some of it corrected. That meant redoing several layers in After Effects and re rendering it again. Pain in the ass!!

Anyway I will miss this place after I leave. It’s a funny town with very nice people. Turns out that before the US left, a lot of military people lived here because it’s so close to Stuttgart.

Hopefully more tomorrow.
