Walking Around Town And Apples…

MaliYesterday was a beautiful day and while taking a walk I met Jörg Hauck. He was tending to This small patch of dirt in front of his house. He soon invited me in for coffee. He and his wife Isabelle own an apple orchard between Heidelberg and Mannheim:

Obstbau Hauck

http://www.obstbau-hauck.de. Wonderful people. Since the own an apple orchard I opted for apple juice instead of coffee. Also gave me a bottle to take with me back home. It’s completely pressed from real apples and nothing added. Not even water. So there you have it! I highly recommend taking walks on nice days. You never know who you will meet.

In the meantime upon reading about Mali the elephant, I decided to do a drawing/water color of her. Sometimes there are stories that touch me very deeply. This happens to be one of them:https://www.change.org/p/urgent-take-action-to-save-lonely-miserable-elephant

In the meantime the saga continues in Karpland:
