Train Strike…

Seems as if there is a 48 hour train strike. Puts a bit of a damper in our plans to venture out and see some more of the world here. I’m using the time to blog and perhaps coming up with another drawing and continuing to write the story. Meditation and a bit of yoga is in order as well. I think tomorrow they will be back in business. I hope so because we need to get into town and on Saturday we have plans to venture to Kunstverein Ludwigshafen a. Rh. (art center, exhibition space near Mannhein.) Also trying to avoid going stir crazy. There is just so much work you can do. Sandy was using their computer and a few other things which they took back yesterday. So since she can’t work,  she is a good candidate for stir crazy. I suppose this is par for the course when things end a bit too early.

More good news is that Julia Philippe is going to show our work to her clients. So all in all this has been a very successful residency. The Mali posters are on hold at the moment. They still want to print them but that will take 6 weeks. Then they want me to sign them. They asked when I will be back and honestly I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon. Not unless I get a show here. So we agreed to put the posters on hold for the moment. Shipping was not an option for them. Don’t know why because they do have the money. I suppose they would rather spend it on something else.

Anyway we will be flying home next week and it will be catching up and back to business.
