Lots going on or should I say some interesting stuff continues to attract and baffle me. First City Bike. Still needs to work out some of its kinks:
Also not all culture is completely lost. Rizzoli is reopening:
New housing concepts or rethinking the housing market:
Floating homes reminds me of the Petropolis Ludwigshafen in Greetings From Karpland. Same concept just no U~BUZZ.
And it’s always good to see how other people decorate their homes:
More on the art front:
E.L. Doctorow past away on the 21st of this month.
And if the Bronx isn’t enough, the developers are headed into Staten Island:
Recently there was a town meeting in Bayonne to stop another battle with Condo Cancer. If I read the flyer correctly, (I was in Shop Right at the time and was looking to end my afternoon shopping so I was a little distracted) to the powers that be are planning to build in Bayonne. Lets face it, no place is safe or sacred. The closer you are to the city, more more the developers want to snatch it away. Sad but true.
Up to Chapter 8 in Greetings From Karpland and things are going to heat up before they cool down. So I should get to that in a big way after this week. Finished THE DRONES WARZ panel and thinking about the next. I’ll be posting that one soon.
Also thank you Marta Wapiennik for providing the backgrounds I’m using in my work.
