Our studio tour is underway. Visit Drawing Rooms at 188 Grand Street in Jersey city and see the show. The weather sucks but the grand opening last night was pretty well attended.
On a sad note some artist and small businesses aren’t so lucky:

So here we go again with Condo Cancer. Throwing out the culture and throwing in the unaffordable housing. It’s a terrible death we are experiencing. I would call it a slow death but it is happening at the speed of light. If you read the article you will find that the local arts council wouldn’t even get involved with this. I think we need to start protecting ourselves and we as artists need to stick together. It’s a problem we are refusing to face. So I think we may have to say goodbye to the New York we once knew. If you walk around the city you’ll find so much has changed. It has become very homogenized. Sad part is that it’s happening all over the world.
We need more artist housing:

Here is an interesting article as well:

Anyway, I’m just getting back to blogging and my routine of getting the work out there.
Stay tuned…
