With the annual Jersey City International Television & Film Festival just over a week away, our team is excited and looking forward to showcasing over 50 films, with screenings that include features, documentaries, animation, web series and student films; all featuring talented filmmakers from around the globe.
Mana Contemporary and the Jersey City Museum (operated by JCMC-Barnabas Health) will host the screenings, with the majority of screenings taking place on Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th. Feature films The Wonderpill, A Father’s Journey, and The Stockroom, a web series by ChicpeaTV will also be included, as well as a discussion panel featuring Kris Van Nest, Founder, Host and Executive Producer of thislearning® – Television to Inspire Learning™ and the KidsTeachDad TV show. Through our grant program “Enhancing Volunteerism through Film” JCITFF awarded its first grant to Juliet Foster, who produced a short film on the works of Big Brothers and Big Sisters, which will premiere at our Opening Festivities.
