The Z Has Yet Another Platform…And Gentrification Cancer Continues To Spread…

The Z has yet another platform, MineEye. They are located in the UK and are selling the Z in e form. Check them out it’s a new company. Not sure how the currency will work out:

The ugly face of gentrification continues. Yesterday I received an email explaining that here in JC they want to revisit the parking laws. Of course this will mean less convenience for residents and more revenue for the city. They are also talking about destroying Liberty State Park and putting a casino there. It’s interesting and sad watching JC becoming an extension of New York. We now have CitiBike which unless you work in JC you can’t bike to work. I suppose it’s nice if you don’t own a bike and want to ride around town. Then again I would be very careful. JC drivers aren’t the best so my advice is to wear a helmut. So I sit and watch as our dilapidated city rapidly becomes the 6th borough. I won’t miss the gun shots and people having sex in front of my house, but that is what was keeping the rents low.

Seems like a lot of people in my area are pretty much for the change. They are opening a restaurant down the hill and it seems to be more like one of the downtown establishments. One person on our email community board said that they hope they don’t charge $15 for a glass of wine. I laughed to myself. When change like this happens, expect the $15 glass of wine.

What I liked about living here was the restaurants were cheap and the food was fresh and good. Now that’s few and far between. Hopefully they won’t get too greedy with the parking in this area. Keep your fingers crossed.

In the meantime the bubble continues to inflate and the prices continue to rise. I am hoping to have an attitude adjustment or ride out the storm. Like I have been saying, it will be interesting to see how things pan out. So let’s prey that The Z Factor and Greetings from Karpland get picked up and made into a blockbuster.

Another site that i am on is Apparently I have close to 50,000 views. I think partly is because I have it as part of my email signature. This is very nice because I now have friends from all over the world.

Special hi and congrats to Zata Banks and her video poem ventures,

Started a new animal umon series. Onward and upward in the face of gentrification!! If my predictions are correct, we will all be umons by the year 2030 so sty tuned…
