Nature / Wildlife Photograph: Hidden Caterpillar

Deserves a reblog!!

Hidden caterpillar, Wildlife Nature Photograph

Spicebush Swallowtail Butterfly Caterpillar, photographed in my front yard. This little guy was really cool looking; the yellow spots on its skin are for defense. When it feels threatened it pulls it skin over its head to resemble a small snake. It even sticks out an orange color follicle every once in a while resembling a snakes tongue.

Prints are available in:

  • Multiple sizes
  • Multiple print materials: Canvas, fine art photo paper, traditional photo paper
  • Discounting is available for multiple prints
  • All fine art are limited, signed, and numbered
  • Licensing options for personal and commercial use are available
