This piece I believe is #50 in my collaboration with Marta Wapiennik. We are in the process of putting together a catalogue which will be available in the not too distant future so stay tuned for that. In the meantime for those of you who haven’t seen it, here is the preliminary:

In the meantime not much else to report or complain about. Everything is on hold until next week because of the holiday. The good news is that I was able to complete the above piece.
I did however take a walk around the neighborhood yesterday. I wanted to check out this new upscale café that just opened. It was Christmas day and of course they were closed. But since it is the first very real sign of gentrification, I wanted to experience our soon to be gone urban decay. I was walking my dog and ended up making friends with a bunch of people hanging out in front of a Bodega. Always nice when people want to pet your dog. It’s a great ice breaker. Harley (my dog) is a Lab/German Shepherd mix. He is very good looking and knows it. Most people are afraid but the ones that aren’t just fawn all over him. He adores the attention. Great way to meet people.
Anyway stay tuned…
