Last night I had the pleasure to visit the renovated Loews Theater in Journal Square. It was indeed a treat. Loews was a theater chain way back when people used to go out and see films. Spectacular in its day the Loews brings back wonderful memories. Growing up in Brooklyn I saw Gone With The Wind and so many other great films at the Loews Kings. Last night we saw All About Eve. It was great to watch it in a theater rather than on T.V. Anyway, the theater still has a ways to go but it is definitely a wonderful experience. It was nice to see so many people come out and enjoy the experience. I have to say I was expecting a total renovation, but again it is a great work in progress. I can’t wait to see how they renovated the Loews Kings. I heard that is awesome. Love the organ music.

Stay tuned…
