Art, the Housing Market and Death, The Final Frontier …

I’ve been bellyaching about gentrification, the housing market and disappearing neighborhoods forever. This artist, Doug McCune has found a way to deal with it in a positive yet beautiful way:

Here is another take on a somewhat dismal subject:

And another woman artist, Susan Tepper gets her moment to shine. Very strong work:

Special thanks to for all the great content.

Speaking of disappearing neighborhoods:

Bottom line and I don’t mean to sound cynical (but I am), developers are finding loopholes to get around this. Time to move off the planet.

More on the Trump front:

Why anyone would want to scale a building to speak to this guy is beyond me.

Thank you WNYC for the above articles.

On a positive note I FINALLY updated my web site:

I’ve been avoiding doing this because it’s such a long and tedious task. I was thinking of a complete overhaul but this works for now. What prompted me was the interest of a publisher. She needed hi res images of work that had to be on my site for I don’t know how many years. I had to dig up the work. Fortunately I was able to get her the images. But this is old work and I have since moved on. Anyway probably still needs a bit of attention but the bulk of it is done.

Stay tuned…
